Salsa is technically correct but I mix them up all the time. That being said, salsas and grilled fish are probably one of my favorite things to prepare during the summer.

Yum. I think “salsa” may be technically correct, although I would think of chunkier things as “chutney,” too, whether cooked or not. Try adding chopped sungold tomatoes. I’m debating making peach/sungold salsa to bring to an upcoming party.

Darn. Guess “raw, sugar-free chutney” would be closer but just doesn’t have the same ring to it.

Yeah, technically it would be a salsa. A chutney is defined as: a spicy condiment made of chopped fruits or vegetables cooked in vinegar and sugar with ginger and spices
